HAPPY NEW YEAR!   2010 IS HERE!

DALLAS, TX (KNTU)  2010 came into North Texas with a lot of folks trying to stay warm in the very cold environs of Victory Plaza in downtown Dallas for "Big D NYE" -- but had a great time doing so.

Former Sales Director Drew Jacoy was among the KNTU folks who ventured south for the big party; but it was tough figuring out what happened to Drew's hand.

Once the clock ticked down to zero -- it was time for fireworks (the show was a bit disappointing after all the on-air TV hype). There was music and fun and now it's a brand new year.

At one point WFAA sports guru Dale Hansen and weather guy Pete Delkus were on stage introducing one of the bands when Dale gave in to what KNTU's been doing for several years now and called the new year "twenty-ten."
