Guyer wins big, still undefeated PDF Print E-mail

DENTON, TX (KNTU) Denton Guyer throttled the Little Elm Lobos 56-7 to earn a school record 8th straight victory. Guyer dominated the game from all fronts- offense, defense, ad special teams. Guyer scored a touchdown on nearly all of its possessions, punting just once.

Jaimaine Wilhite scored three of the Wildcats’ touchdowns in a game where 6 different players found the end zone for Guyer. Wilhite also carried the ball 12 times for 96 yards. Junior quarterback J.W. Walsh had 89 yards on just three carries with a touchdown.

Walsh also passed for two scores while completing 10 of 14 passes for 141 yards. Little Elm’s old school run first offense did manage 119 yards, but completed only 4 passes for 54 yards.

The Lobos were forced to punt 7 times, one of which was returned for a 95-yard touchdown by Cameron Hunter. Guyer’s senior standout defensive tackle Taylor Bible was honored at halftime for his selection to play in the 2010 Under Armour All-America Game. Bible is orally committed to the University of Texas.
